It's time for CAMP! Join us for an inclusive, interactive, and immersive week of story-telling and building adventures, where we play in a fantastical world we build ourselves! Designed for gender diverse and expansive kids ages 7-13 and run by a highly-trained and professional team of trans and nonbinary staff, this day camp program is focused on providing community for gender expansive youth, creating space for them to just be kids and freedom to be their true selves, all through the fun of SUMMER CAMP! 

Our goal, first and foremost, is creating a space for growth and exploration run by trans staff and gender advocates for children outside of the gender binary. We do that by prioritizing community values like acting with respect, responding with kindness, and creating together.

WHO: Trans & gender expansive youth in N. Central Florida, ages 7-13

WHEN: August 5th-9th  / 9a-3p / extended care available 8a-5:30p (optional overnight campout Friday, August 8th for campers ages 9 and up!)

COST: FREE!

Camp Silver is a nonprofit dedicated to giving an amazing camp experience to all gender expansive youth in North Central Florida.

WHERE: Exact address will be released to registered families prior to camp start. It is located within the City of Gainesville.

What does Build Your Own Adventure Camp mean? 

We will be diving into a fantastical story together with staff playing roles to help immerse our campers in a magical world… but then the campers will get to be the story themselves, creating their own characters and discovering how their decisions and actions impact those around them, creating a truly amazing adventure for our week together.  At times we will encounter villains that need to be defeated, or puzzles and traps that we must work our way through. The campers are assigned to age appropriate teams and will get prompts to make and build things needed to propel the story and get us close to our goal. This is a literacy, STEM, art, and community building mashup of pure ridiculous fun!
